It looks like this manhwa was eluding to another manhwa being held in the same universe based on the panel vaguely saying “there’s another way”, does anyone know what it is?
I think this is pretty good, but the author absolutely fumbled the ball on the part where Manaria shows up. The ending of that part of the story was trash, in my opinion. The author has them shake hands and sort of make up, and Manaria goes on her merry way, like it’s supposed to make us like her. Is the author forgetting the fact she’s literally a rapist? Like, her whole sob story background is “wahhh I SA’d a girl and she left meeee” like I’m sorry YOU RAPED a girl, but now all my respect for you is eternally gone. Not to mention she THREATENS TO RAPE ANOTHER GIRL, IN FRONT OF THE GIRL WHO LIKES HER. And even more importantly, the author just completely throws away the girl who got raped? She shows up in like two panels and disappears. At the VERY least, if Manaria is trying to be a character we like, she needs to properly apologize, do her time in fucking JAIL, and pay for that girl’s therapy for life. NONE of that makes me like her, and another thing! Is that seriously how she treats the girl she likes?!? We’ve already established she likes raping people she likes, and her treatment of our MC really sets in stone that she’s just a straight awful person. I get the author had to make it convincing that she was in love with Claire, but her treatment of Rae is downright horrid. She duels her in a DEFENSIVE AREA and still makes her THROW UP BLOOD AND PASS OUT. Very loving. Then she threatens to rape someone in front of her, very seductive. And overall is just a massive asshole to her. And were expected to not hate the shit out of her at the end and just accept their neutral parting???? No, she literally deserves to be thrown into jail. Only reason she gets away with it is because she’s royalty, and that poor girl she raped didn’t tell anyone and just left, probably because she couldn’t do anything in her situation.
