I really want to read this. But I really can't stand the thought of them being brothers, even though they're not really biological but still
They aren't real brothers, it's part of a story. It's a bit convoluted, but basically this is all a fake world and they are simply playing roles to fulfill a quota, and to MC, the villain, he has to do certain villainous tasks to fill his quota that sends him to another world. It's super complicated, but when you fully read it, it's worth it.
They lose that "step-brothers" role pretty quickly in the story (to explain it in a way without spoilers)
