it wouldnt be a good bl if there wasnt something that pulled them apart, love communication but sometimes you need a good angsty, miscommunication arc in order to make the healing arc more meaningful
instant perfect communication just seems rushed and boring unless the characters are genuinely like that, ive only seen one bl do that fine but thats because the characters are written to do exactly that, that it makes sense, this bl isnt
I agree but I found the time skip and lack of communication to be highly frustrating and I never really got over the SA scene. I was so disappointed when it happened
