A wasted potential. It really started strong. Even the promo was so catchy.
The middle bit was still engaging but sadly, both the art and the phasing went downhill from there. I just started speed reading from chapter 40ish.

Yup only mc’s pov. Chapter 25 here is chapter 40 of the novel. I think it’s a super close adaptation most of what’s left out is detailed swimming and work stuff. When I do my novel rereads I usually start at 40 cause things really pick up from there!

I started reading this early 2019, paused to pick it up later when it's done. I even bought all the available hard copies (without reading any!!) when bookdepository was still online and it still isn't finish? Zariya-sensei, have mercy on us please. (︶︿︶)
Finally managed to read in finish this in one go. Started reading this when it first came out but I had to stop and let it marinate til end.
I'd say, I'm quite okay with how everyone ended up. Even the White Devil tbh. It's dog eat dog world, they all did what they had, even Geom offed people who had nothing to do with his abuse so yah. The ending was somewhat satisfying for me.
