His character didnt randomly change. He has been acting like a gangster thug since the beginning. The author has been consistent with his character. Thats how a guy like him acts when things don't go his way....

I get what ur saying but I think everyone is getting whiplash bc it’s too extreme and half the time I would say readers considered his past action justifiable. But what he’s doing rn is crazyyy

I understand what you are saying. I also feel bad coz one of my most favourite tropes is a red/balck flag that's red/black to others but is a green flag to their lover.

However, that's only fiction. In real world, a guy that's black flag to the world, would eventually turn into a black flag towards their lover too. In that sense, the ML's depiction is quite realistic.

That's coz he never understood his own emotions. Guys like that arent good with understanding their own emotion, let alone being able to regulate their emotion!
