First of all, I LOVE this Manhwa, I always try to find this kind of step family story where it's not only a fetish but there's guilt and angst that comes from it.
Also shout out to our Uke for having a BRILLIANT IDEA as a Gay man but forced to having a heir.
Have a lavender marriage with a Woman who already have a kid. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
He will have a Step Son but doesn't have to sleep with a Woman, and the Wife will have Money and her son will inherit a very big company.
It's a win win situation.
Every character have an interestng personality but let's talk about the Uke first because a lot of people misunderstood him (which is normal because he is an odd person).
Yes our Uke is Toxic, Sadist, Manipulator.
But what I find interesting about him is he doesn't really care about putting labels in relationship.
Father? He treat his father like a stranger
Lovers? He treat his lover like an object
Husband? He treat his wife as a friend
Son? He never see our Seme as a Son
He doesn't really care when other people put labels in his relationship as long as he gain something from it.
So when you ask him what is his current relationship with the Seme, he will say "He is my Son!" Because that's what other people believe.
But he always treat Seme more than that, like a Lover.
And fortunately Seme finally understood what our Uke actually meant.
"It doesn't really matter."
If Seme want to put labels in their relationship let's just say "Couple/Dating" people will still find it weird because other people always see their relationship as father and son.
Just like Seme hyung, and our Uke Ex Lover, they find it ridiculous when they know that Uke and Seme slept together even tho it's consensual.
So even if they're "Dating" they would still hide it from the rest of the world, so it changes nothing.
But yes even if they didn't really put labels in their
relationship both of them promise that they will always be there for each other and there will be no one else until the day they die.
Now let's talk about our Seme, uhm.... How should I put this...
He is Young, lost both of his parents, always overthinking, very confused and don't know what to do when he has feelings for his own Step Father.
Which is completely valid.
He also get lonely very easily but never express it with anyone, and he HATES the feeling that he isn't someone important for anyone including our Uke (luckily it's just his Overthinking)
Many people don't like the ending, but for me?
It's already perfect I don't really know how the author developt their relationship more than this.
As long as they're happy together that's all that matter.
