Yes, she’s a coward, even Vincent said so….but please remember that throughout her whole life, she has been ridiculed for her looks, even by her sister. She lives in an era where hierarchy is number 1. PLUS, her life was threatened because of being entangled with nobility. She even lost Lucas because of that :(( She’s jsut extremely kind. I’m genuinely happy that Vincent is now powerful enough to drag her out of the shell, out of the lonely cave that she built. Hopefully, she realizes that Vincent truly loves her for who she is, no matter how “ugly” she thinks she looks. It takes a long time to rebuild her confidence. “All those 5 years but she hasn’t changed” HELLO? She was literally on the run?! She left without any closure too, How do you expect her to change when she was literally hiding??
