i understand she was hurt bc of how sora lied to her, but to do what she did in response?? she even kind of admitted she was making herself a bigger victim than necessary, knowing sora wouldn’t hurt her on purpose and would rather hurt herself for others.
she literally isolated sora from everyone else in the school, knowing she was too shy to reach out without help. and ahyoung already has other friends (albeit a bit more superficial than sora), and was honestly being way too selfish and hurtful about the situation. the “punishment” was worse than the crime you know?
but i guess the author is trying to show us some more toxic traits in characters and make them a but more “realistic” or something, but i’m still not rly ok with how everything concluded. especially with the juxtaposition of ahyoung and the way-too-nice awkward adorable sora.
hopefully ahyoung at least apologizes or acknowledges the isolation she put sora through while she was upset with sora.
ur over analyzing it a bit /nm and even though she knew she would never hurt her she still was upset because she had been lied to which is fair, def not a toxic trait to want someone to apologize for lying despite their intentions. because your intentions mean nothing when it comes to the action. not saying soras in the either, none of them are
the toxic trait isn’t wanting someone to apologize, it seems you misunderstood. i was saying the toxic thing ahyoung did was isolate sora in the aftermath. its normal for ahyoung to want an apology, but she should also apologize for her actions while they were having their comflict.
