It was always there though. Their entire dynamic is the alpha being a pushover due to internalized trauma and ptsd. The beta is a laissez faire pretty boy rich kid who’s just does whatever he wants and does not respect boundaries and it’s “quirky”. That’s been their established dynamic the whole time. BL likes its tropes and cliches and you especially know the patterns and what to look for after a while. I fully expected this chapter I am not happy to say but I fully expected it. What saddens me more is this very very realistic in terms of relationship dynamic of narcissist/enabler.
