i'm surprised some people didn't like the author's implementation of the backstories, i found them very intriguing and i didn't feel subjected to picking sides or feeling like i owe them sympathy at all, they're literally serving as a plot device and allow us to understand how high the emotional stakes truly are. if we didn't get the couple's backstory their characters would be flat as hell, and their backstories are (imo) one of the most important parts of the story because it helps us understand why their moral compasses are compromised, but their past doesn't excuse their behaviour. i definitely don't support their execution but omg i'm living for the internal conflict everyone has it's super interesting lol
the cliffhanger gave me chills omg but come on this guy had an eye for this from the beginning, but this is the PERFECT balance between plot, smut and the art is beautiful. thank u for this masterpiece. also the audience YEEEAAARRRNSSSS for a side couple i cannot flipping wait for the next season eek
