I read the novel a while back so for those who just wants to know what happens to who and who, as well as the ending I'll put it all right here. Also to those who don't want to read the novel and just wants to get to it. Also, this is what I vaguely remember because I don't want to go back and refresh my memories of this novel, it's too much yadayadayada blah blah.

So, starting off from chapter 200 of this manghwa, I don't remember what lead up to what, but Xiao Ling(FL) is dating Ling Lin(ML) as you can see. And Pei Zhieng( 2nd ML) is not happy about it. One thing lead to another, and ML grandpa does not like FL as she does not have anyone to back her up and dislike her family status as a poor person. Grandpa does everything to make FL miserable and separates ML from her. If I remember correctly FL warned ML his grandpa doesn't like her, but he was like, "Nah, he just haven't warmed up to you yet."
ML is stupid everyone, and didn't believe her until he witness it himself how grandpa threaten and treated her. But, he couldn't cut his tie with his grandpa because grandpa was the one who raised and protected him when he was a child. ML is a mafia incase it wasn't explained in the manghwa.
(I'M NOT GOING BACK TO READ THIS MANGAHWA CAUSE FL is stupid too)
Anyway, 2ML also interferes to make more misunderstanding happen between ML and FL. FL sister also adds in, so did ML assistant who's in love with him. Uh, I believe there were other multiple perpetrators making mishap happen, but with the power of love they were able to over come the misunderstanding and then one day, FL goes filming, accident happened, ML goes saves her. I believe they were hanging by the cliff. 2ML comes, ML is dying from blood loss, 2ML forces FL to make an vow to never leave 2ML side.
(So this is a big issue for FL because she's actually from a powerful shaman family but she doesn't know this, and making an oath ties it to their very soul so that if they break it they either have a horrible ending or never reincarnates. It's like a bid thing)
Anyway, she makes the oath, ML grandpa takes him away to care for his injuries and also insults FL lead. During that time, FL finds out she pregnant and wants to let ML know, but Grandpa takes him away to a far away island for a family fuel I think?
ML was able to get a message to FL he will return to her after taking care of family fuel, however little did he know that grandpa was egging FL on about ML is now together with his aid, I think her name was Sue something. A weeks go by, FL hears nothing from ML, then sees a picture sent by grandpa, showing her a pregnant Sue and ML in an embrace. 2ML knows about this too because Grandpa and him are working together to split the two.
Oh, also during the time ML was away on the island, FL had to fake sleeping with 2ML so he doesn't kill the baby inside of her. I don't remember if he had threatened her he was going to kill the baby inside of her if he finds out it's not his, or rapes her until she prego with his. The dude is a fucking psyco. She got help from her former song writer Pei Kun, who helped her as much as he could in his power to trick 2ML. They fake the sleeping together, 2ML believe the child is his, doesn't kill the baby inside of her.
Back to ML situation. FL waited for month, he still didn't return even after 3 month went by I think, even after telling her to just wait for a week. FL gave up on ML, went into labor, gave birth, and does everything she can to keep her baby alive while making sure 2ML doesn't find out its not his child. He finds out anyway, because the child has the same allergic reaction as ML and plans to kill the baby on the baby's 100th birthday. FL finds out he knows it's not his baby, and threaten 2ML if anything happens to her baby, she will make it so that she will be infertile. So, 2ML got no choice but to secret murder the baby.
100th birthday comes by, FL sister sees baby, throws baby into the trash. 2ML sees baby in trash, leaves the baby to die. A mysterious man shows up on the birthday and saves the baby. FL the whole time is looking for her baby, found her baby's bottle in the trash, breaks down, and sent to the hospital. 2ML couldn't find the remains of the baby as he didn't want FL to die from heartache so, burned something, don't remember what it was, and told FL it was her baby and they had it turn into ashes for her to keep in a jar. FL cries, held the jar, buries the jar into the Pei family garden as the baby was already register as 2ML child.
FL leaves the 2ML house as there was nothing to tie her there anymore but the oath was still there. FL wanted to leave but needs the oath to be broken first. Mysterious man comes along, tells 2ML if he doesn't break the oath he will inform FL about what he did, and he promises that FL will never see 2ML again, because mysterious man is that much more powerful then him. 2ML breaks the oath, but begs FL to at least leaves close by. By this time FL doesn't care about anything and might as well stay close to someone she knows, whiling having her own privacy. She also leaves the company owned by ML and opens her own place.
Years go by, FL becomes the #1 diva. She has a helpful partner who became one of her bbf. During her time as a Diva, she finds out mysterious man is her brother who is a powerful shaman, and her family is one of the most powerful family in both human and spiritual realm. She was sent away from her family because the daughter of the main branch will die if they are not raised from outside of the family. It has something to do with karma and supernatural stuff. Also because she had the fate of the Phoenix. She has to die and then reincarnate, accumulate karma and then her life will be filled with happiness. When FL found out, she was happy that she has a real family waiting for her, and mad as well as sad that she had to go through all of this because of fate. Anyway, her brother informed her, the worst of her fate is now over because she had passed her reincarnated fate (1st life time, dying) everything that will follow her now will be better.
FL encounters a lovely and adorable child and wants to adopt him. Scandals happens, FL don't care, adopts the child. ML finally returns, now more buffed up and scared up. Finds out about FL adopting a child, wants to see her. She rejects him, spends time with her child. The child she adopted was actually her real son, Xiao Hui. She also ends up naming him that anyway. FL was encouraged by her partner to attend more party with her child as a good repor, ends up meeting the aids child who is claimed to be ML's child, it's not. The aids child is called Ru I think?
Xiao Hui and Ru gets into a fight because of all of the idea Ru's mother put into of his head regarding about FL. FL ready to sue ML for Ru harming Xiao Hui. A news report comes in, and they have to pretend they are all in a good relationship and there was no jealous involved for the sake of their children. The aid tried to use this to taint FL reputation. Xiao Hui saves the day by befriending the leopard(Leopard knows that Hui is ML child) and caring for Ru who pooped in his pants after Leopard roar at him. During this time, ML explained to FL why he couldn't returned and Ru wasn't his child. Aid got raped on the island trying to save ML from the barbarians, so ML took responsibility for this and took the child as his own.
FL still had feelings for ML and forgives him after he explain, and because Xiao was super fond of ML it make it more easier for FL to forgive ML. Xiao Hui knows that ML is his dad because his uncle, FL brother told him.
They started seeing each other again. Aid tattle tell to grandpa, grandpa tries to break them up again, but ML puts his foot down, house arrest grandpa.
2ML tried to interfere as well, but it didn't work. Xiao Hui goes hang out with ML, elevator breaks down, ML and Xiao Hui are injured. ML is okay, but Xiao Hui lost a lot of blood. ML offers to donate blood. FL rushed to the hospital, finds out Xiao Hui is a rare blood type like ML, starts investigating, finds out Xiao Hui is her real child. ML happy that Xiao Hui is getting better, FL tells ML he is her real child. ML heart broken but happy for her. He still thinks that FL child's father is 2ML. FL hits his chest, crying that he is the real father, and that she did everything to keep Xiao Hui alive when she gave birth to him, because she knew 2ML would have killed their child. ML was heart broken to hear he left his wife and child in the jaws of deadly man, but happy that Xiao Hui is truly their child. Xiao wakes up, happy that his mom and dad are finally together. Xiao Hui also accidentally blurt out that he knows who his uncle is. FL gets made as puts the puzzle together, calls her brother, yells at him.
Happy days happen, until grandpa works with 2ML to kidnap Xiao Hui and send him to a slave auction. FL and ML pretends to be slaves and Master to go save him. Saves Xiao Hui, gets surrounded by bad people, brother comes and saves the day. After that, they announced to the world that FL is actually the daughter of the powerful Shaman family, and Xiao Hui is their biological child. And they are getting married.
2ML super upset and only then realized that FL was really his butterfly who came back to life in another person's body. Anyway, he takes out his anger and sadness on FL's horse. FL was also on the way with ML to go get her horse. Witness 2ML murder her horse, goes into shock, faints. ML shots 2ML on the thigh, threaten the vets there to save FL. Finds out FL is prego again. FL moves away from the house that was next to 2ML's mansion to go live with ML and Xiao Hui.
Aid has a mental break down seeing them together as a family and tries to have Xiao Hui and FL run over by the car. FL protects Xiao Hui, gets injured, sent to hospital. ML goes sees FL. Aid sees them together on the TV, have another mental break down, beats the living day light out of Ru. Ru gets sent to the hospital where Xiao Hui and FL are at. Xiao Hui befriends with Ru. Coincidently, Aid was also sent to the same hospital, saw the two child become friendly and starts hitting them. Xiao Hui protects Ru and gets badly injured. ML sends Aid away. Ru ask why Xiao Hui protected him, Xiao said he's the big brother and big brother protects their little brother. Ru cries, sad that his mom never loved him, and happy he has now gained a family that loves him.
ML finds out Aid was the one who sent the car to run over FL, decide to send Aid to the most dangerous prison island. Before that, he had Ru witness that his mother, Aid, never ever loved Ru. Ru from then on no longer see Aid as his mother, but only Xiao Hui and FL as his family. Aid goes to prison, FL brother cast a curse on the garment Aid wears. Aid dies a horrible death in the prison from getting dissect into pieces by a mad doctor.
Now, to FL sister, they are not really sisters. I believe her name starts with a Yu? Anyway Yu is from a branch family, and she was sent out from the shaman family because FL family didn't want her to be in the outside by herself. Yu thought that she was from the main branch and made a big commotion about it, saying FL tricked the main branch and said horrible things about her so that they would love FL and not her. Brother shots her down saying the don't share an ounce of blood and she's from the branch family. Yu decided to go back to the branch family after her crimes with framing FL's past life as a murder came out. Also, she had something to do with the incident of orphans dying from the food that FL supposedly gave them.
Yu went back, finds out her real parents were shits, suffered from getting whipped by the main branch for harming FL. Yu wants to leave the shaman family since she's just torture there, but there's no way to leave. Tricks her real parents to let her leave and so they got her a way out. Little did she know, brother casted a cursed on her or either she had accumulated too much bad karma and the shaman family was the only place where the bad karma couldn't reach her. Once she left bad karma got to her. She was sent to jail after failing to seduce 2ML and dies in jail.
The last boss was ML half brother, but I main skipped with part because it was too much of the same thing. Anyway, ML brother's, Fang, I think that was his name? Was in love with ML but didn't want to admit and so, decided to torture ML his whole life as a way to deny he was in love with ML. He dies after getting shot by FL brother, 2ML attacking him, and the Leopard rolling him into pieces.
Oh, and ah, ML fell into a coma, FL used spiritual power of singing and love to heal him. 2ML had cancer but was now healed up too. Blah blah blah. Happy ending.
