Oh My God, this story is just so well thought out. Like, I was following along so intently and when I finally understood each component of the story I was just amazed. I initially believed that it was going to be separate stories that ended with cliffhangers, but instead it tells the story in a non-linear way through the perspectives of different people. Also I was so shocked to see that Iwata was actually dead, I thought he was just following what he thought happened to Mr Miura in his dreams. The fact that everything came together this way is honestly so amazing (not the fact that he died I thought he was a very cool character, but the facts that the everything came together so smoothly that even my dumbass was able to understand). Like the story writing for this is out of this world. And the fact that all the drawings are connected in some way, and that they could all be used as proof that she murdered three different people is crazy. I actually don't know how to articulate the emotions I felt when reading this. Honestly this psychological horror who's so much scarier than works that I've read with a lot more gore. And it's so concise but also so detailed at the same time I don't know maybe I'm just a glazer but this is definitely one of the best things I've ever read. Maybe I just need to expand the amount of literature I consume, but the fact that someone was able to make this just shocks me to my very core.

I do recommend you read the novel’s Strange Buildings too, since it’s layout is the same as strange pictures where all stories are related to one another, though that one i’d say was pretty more complex
Ikr, I got literal chills, and I actually read strange buildings after reading strange pictures and I agree, it was good, but not as good the other one. I ended up staying up until like 2am that night, I was exhausted the next day, but I HAD to keep reading
I forgot the plot of this and had to reread the whole thing and by the end of the first chapter I remembered what this was abt and knowing just made the whole reading process SM worse. I like Jiheon, but he NEVER should've done that to Wooju, my poor baby Wooju went through too much. I hope that Jiheon tells Wooju and that Wooju takes a break from their relationship and that Jiheon feels genuinely remorseful. I ship them, but I also feel bad for shipping them, if that makes and sense. I feel like Prof. Cha and Jiheon are step-brothers, and that Prof. Cha's dad raped Jiheons mom making her hate him and Jiheon. Honestly, idgaf how this story ends as long as Wooju is happy and gets his dream job in architecture!!!

I want to hate Varkas so much, but then he does stuff like this and I'm like feeling the same butterflies Thalia's feeling. I actually love Thalia so much. Like she is 100% not a great person, she isn't evil per se, but she is definitely morally gray and I just feel like that makes her more "humanesque". Like I feel so bad for her because she's had basically nobody on her side since she was a young girl and nobody deserves that. Humans are very social creatures and being pushed to be alone for so long and having people you don't even know just speak ill of you behind your back, it makes sense how she turned out.
