I think I believe in the theory of TJ who fell asleep in the car and who dreamed of this meeting when he arrived at the house we see the famous black band of dreams it would also explain why we see Ian at the beginning of Chicago I just hope I'm wrong
nobody talks about the scene at the café.. in my opinion there‘s no necessity to show us all this, if it‘s not important somehow. Ian saying he orders something new with a slight smirk, it seems he remembers TJ’s release from prison by chance, not as someone who is totally excited about it. Theres one panel where the door is wide open, with sunbeaems and one panel where Ian seems to look at this direction.. in my opinion theres a slight chance, that we‘ll see Jo walk in..
The reunion of TJ and Ian is too smooth, too superficial.. and it seems super fragmented, the whole chapter is weird imo.. personally I think, TJ wishes so much that Ian is waiting for him, and maybe he‘s daydreaming.. it would be too easy after everything that happened, it simply feels off and too light if we consider how heavy and difficult the story always has been.. the change is too sudden..
But please.. just my opinion, its no attack and i dont want to pick a fight.. everybody should be allowed to write their thoughts and analyses if its factual!

No problem everyone has their own opinion I agree that this chapter is strange and it's too good to be true, either TJ really dreamed and Jo will enter this cafe to find Ian or it was the reality and Ian really waited for TJ and so the long-awaited end has arrived
what Ian is saying about his order and the open door right after could be some metaphors regarding Jo and their relationship.. when some relationships still have a chance you also say ‚the door‘s not closed yet‘ .. it‘s my guess :)

I agree with you. A turnaround is unfortunately possible at this stage
We‘ll see.. either way there will many disappointed people, but after all it‘s just fiction :) niekohle
Exactly people forget that these characters do not exist! After it's true that Ian wears the same clothes at the cafe and in the "dream" so it breaks the theory a little. We'll see. May the best win

Me too I'm on the take that TJ is hallucinating actually. Right after he went inside the car. If Ian was in New York, won't he be waiting for TJ outside the station along with chiwoon and others? Tj looks younger, red hair yangji the red herring maybe, chiwoon smiling, the halo lightings etc etc

Also Toby doesn't know Tj , she represents Joian so it doesn't make sense that they were referring to Tj in the cafe

Would be some crazy turnaround, but I also would love to see Jo walk in.. there‘s too much ambiguity in Ian‘s words and the set-up in this specific scene, i don’t think thats simply stuff to fill up the chapter or thats it shown to us just because.. there‘s a meaning behind it

I feel like there will be some parallels with chapter 50 since she loves doing that also cause next chapter will reach a milestone

I was thinking about that too but in the end I don't think she would do something like that. Especially since Ian wears the same clothes if it was a dream it would be so unlogical? I don't know. We'll see.

Did you notice that there is a black panels? It happens only during flashback and dreams. There are so many sus in this chapter that's why I firmly believe it's a fever dream

Yes I saw it but there have already been in other chapters and it was not a dream otherwise the entire scene would be in black it would once again be not logical even if it puts doubt it is true in any case if this is the case it would be really cruel for readers who support TJian

Which chapter? I'll like to read it again. Also we are talking about Doyak who is so unpredictable so anything can happen

I can't tell you which ones exactly I dropped a while ago I saw it on X and indeed there have already been black bands like that after a turnaround can happen but at this stage of the story I don't see the point or the logic. As I said, we'll see. May the best win
