...It's not even just the plot anymore. The writing is just horrible. When you compare this entire season to the first season, it feels like someone else's writing entirely. The "angsty, emotional" drama doesn't land at all. The dialogue feels empty and cliché. The characters all feel like hollow, one-note caricatures of themselves. The sexual assault scene felt like unnecessary shock value for the readers rather than a true traumatic experience for Haebom and Taesung. It's just become out-of-character torture porn for the sake of being torture porn, and I don't think any "happy ending" is going to redeem the car wreck that has been this season. It never should have happened in the first place.
Oh my god, this was exactly what I was hoping for! I had a feeling this was where the story might go when they were talking about how they could work anywhere as long as they were together if they had to leave Toyokawa in the last volume... It's better this way, though. Instead of giving them the satisfaction of harassing you, just leave hand-in-hand. ╥﹏╥
Thank you for the new chapter! I hope your tests are going well!
Yeah, it's official. I don't like this story at all anymore. I don't think there's any possible explanation that could be given to make any of this feel like a "good twist". The story was already perfectly wrapped up, but I guess the author wanted to tell a new story and was too attached to Haebom and Taesung to just make new ones, so they started digging the plot down and down and down, and now it's in this deep pit that it can't climb back out of. It's not even the same manhwa anymore.

I'm glad that Sunny was finally able to join them in the pillow fort.
