Damn I very much despise the ML, like I might be his only hater. The idea of a redemption arc makes me nauseous after seeing the way he kicked the shii out of the MC and used coercion on someone who is already a victim and product of their own environment. Then on top of that being verbally abusive ans well, patronizing the MC about his feelings and being mad when the MC not licking his toes with hearts in his eyes, forcing kissing in shii and then getting mad when the MC not enjoying the rape he’s forcing on him. Ugh I hate him so much !!!

For people who keep asking about about what chapter this is in the novel, go ahead and put it out of your head fren because the manga has everything out of order, so you’ll basically be reading backwards if you try to start from the “who made you cry” scene. It’s not going to make sense cause they reshuffled the timeline in such a wonky way so just start from chapter 20 if you’re that impatient and want to try and “read ahead” even tho, again, they reshuffled the timeline

He really wanted to keep up with what is right and wrong. As a detective, no matter how many times the system fails him, he still has to follow the laws. He wants to catch the bad guys not becoming one of them which is understandable but it’s such a big dream in a corrupted world to deal with them in the right way instead of using the same dirty methods like that.
I also wished he would use Wonjun’s power because he was the only one who could play their game using the power to abuse the system. Wonjun became my biggest favorite when he did it for Ieum without him asking and refusing his help!
