I find it almost bittersweet the rls between Jess, Pandora, and Gabrielle. I really wish they would’ve stayed acquaintances kind of. I wish Jess appreciated Pandora a little more too. It literally killed me to see her try so hard for Jess’s well being especially when she helped the wheel barrow get water. It’s understandable how Jess didn’t really want a rls with them bc they were pureblood vampires while he still yearned for the life of a human. I didn’t really understand why Jess would willingly stay with Yohan despite all the brutal things he inflicted on Jess. Though I guess it may be because Yohan is the only “lover” who continually verbalized his want to stay with Jess forever and to love him. Jess craved somebody to be by his side even if it meant they weren’t good for each other. No matter how much Jess thought it was toxic, he couldn’t bring himself to leave unless it was the other person’s wish. The ending does feel a bit rushed though. Overall I began to like the story a bit more later on but I def wouldn’t say it’s something I really liked. I hated the way Yohan treated Jess and it was basically glossed over. Mostly read to see Pandora and Gabrielle lol. I feel like they could’ve played a bigger role in the story and deserved more scenes but that’s just my personal opinion.
how does a widely feared mafia boss become the director of a hospital? where tf did the director disappear to. it’s a nice happy ending but i wish the author didn't make it so vague.
