But people here where the author won’t see their opinions (unless an idiot gives the author a link to a piracy site) have the freedom to express their thoughts about the story. Just like you’re free to comment on their comments. People had a different perspective of the story, turned out to be wrong, and is using the comments section appropriately to comment about it. Trying to police that people should stop expressing their thoughts (that’s not going to reach the author) is just as annoying.

You can just ignore them. I can see this easily happening the other way around. Heck, the author might do some insane bullshit that’ll flip the story in the next chapter, who knows?
Also some of the people spent a lot of actual money and time on the series, and just use this place to vent because it’s an open comments section. This is not a surprising outcome at all when the author themself leans in on the love triangle to create engagement, rather than being clear on how they wanted the relationships in the series to end the series. I quite frankly have to criticize the author, as this is the fanbase they’ve cultivated by trying to keep the endgame a mystery all the way to the very last chapters.
