I begging an artist to pick up Diaphonic Symphonia after passion is over. DS was interesting because we will get introduced to Chris and a bitch, their relationship with each other, and Ilay and Taeui
Passion is almost done
Edit: I actually wrote a longer comment, but mgg deleted it for some reason
In the novel we wouldn’t get to see agent Choi until so much later, but I am so happy the artist decided to show him early

these two boys, alan and hayden meet one day when alan stayed out late after a doctors appointment. alan lives in a insanely strict Christian household where his parents attempt to pray away his chronic illness, pray away anything wrong he does, and whenever anything wrong happens to alan they say it’s a punishment from god. hayden is a boy who jumps from town to town, never staying in one place too long. these boys connect and eventually fall in love. when hayden skips town alan decides to follow him. alan holds some christian beliefs due to the environment he grew up in, he views himself as a sinner and finds comfort in the virgin mary because he was raped by a priest when he was 7, he thinks about how things could be different if he was born a woman, if he was born a woman it wouldn’t be a sin for him to love hayden. to save money for their travels hayden sleeps with different woman for money, when alan try’s to do the same thing the woman he meets (maria) tells him she can’t because he reminds her of her dead son. alan finds comfort in maria because she feels like the mother he never had, she provides him comfort he never got, she helps him accept his love for hayden. when it’s time for them to skip town again he thanks her, but driven insane by her grief she threatens to tell the cops about where alan and hayden are, when they’re getting ready to leave she jumps in front of their car and dies, with a gun with two bullets because she was going to kill herself then hayden. the boys run away and now are wanted for the hit and run. alan is now grappling with religious guilt again. alan eventually accepts his love for hayden again and decides to devote himself to hayden instead, they now have mexico as their destination and decide to stop by every church on the way to mexico to show god their love for each other. the last church they stop by is run by alan’s rapist. after calling his father using the rapists phone he confesses to his father about how the priest raped him, his father calls him dirty and says he tainted his house, alan then shoots the priest and the jesus statue. after this hayden and alan drive to the beach in mexico where they are confronted by the police, as they try to drive away the police shoot alan in the chest and hayden wants to save him, but alan says it’s fine and they both drive into the ocean and die.
Ml was super rough and It was really painful for Mc. Since ml is a beginner he didn’t know what was wrong, but he was super willing to learn from his mistakes, so Mc educated him.
i may be wrong since it’s been a while since I read this
Mc himself doesn’t know much about it. Gisell kinda got the knowledge while treating Rensley hahaha
