I love how raw, unfiltered and dark this chapter is. This story has always revolved around tj and yw, showing their character development and growth. I feel like those are the words yw has been waiting to hear from tj all this time.
I’m not hating on Jo but in the toilet stall scene, Ian did acknowledge how selfish and cruel he’s being to Jo because the way I interpreted it is this; deep down he realized he’s emotionally incapable of letting tj go, more like he couldn’t. Ian could’ve moved as soon as he got his new ID but he didn’t because he wanted to stay near tj a little longer. Which is why I can’t see jo being the end game.
Yes, It’s clear to everyone that jo can bring ian peace and stability but what about ian? Can he really give his whole heart to jo like he did for tj? When jo said he’s willing to give up everything for ian I can’t help but think ‘are those the words you’ve been wanting to hear from a certain someone, ian? Is that why you said it’s too good to be true?’ If it’s true then it’ll be too unfair for jo. I might interpret it differently from what the author is aiming for so I hope I’ll get more understanding when this hits the finale.
I’m looking forward for the next chapter but at the same time, I’m really scared.

Got my throat clenching up.
