It was Miss Baek’s order ( Taehee’s mom ) she gives the directions to Taejoo to let him know what needs to be done. I think this is happening either because Miss Baek knows about Haesoo or because she’s trying to ruin Taeha’s character. ( I’m guessing ). But it really doesn’t make any sense I really want to know why they keep making Taeha meet with this girl too.

No, it's true. This ends up happening, but far later in the novel, and it's pretty shitty of Riftan to do to Maxi after he essentially groveled for her not to leave him again, but I honestly can't say I expected anything better from him. He's a selfish prick to the bitter end.

I saw someone say there's supposedly a collector's edition of this manhwa, and it mentions that Taeha is immune to drugs... if that's true, even if she slipped something into his drink, it wouldn't work. On the other hand, I wonder where his immunity comes from? It's a shame that this information is only in the collector's edition.
I remember in one of the chapters along time ago there was a flashback of kid Teaha sick with IV drip type pipe attached (maybe they were drugs) . Even his brother mentioned he used to be really sick kid
