I'm afraid that guwon is immortal lmao

Omg I remember when bato was still alive. I posted a theory that I and my friend made and we came to the conclusion that guwon is not human and might be an immortal being. And he was send down on earth to serve punishment. There were so many panels in the beginning that pointed to this. We posted it then and people surprisingly agreed.
And that would be the reason why he does not care enough about death, plus he already developed an obsession for the bot because he found something in him that he himself doesn’t have. This I’m not sure about but I feel like that’s one reason, but let’s see.
Also remember the bots dream about seeing a very big moon watching him? The place where he sh? That could be his celestial form or wtv it’s called idk. I don’t wanna give theories that won’t make sense at the end of the day but that’s all I can see these pointing to for now.

lol, there are so many things that are adding up but at the same time they are not making sense cuz there a missing piece in my head. I do hope we are right tho. NOW THIIIIISSS IS WHAT I'M SAYINGGGG, you guys got a point cuz there ARE details and plot devices that could add up to that. Also considering the fact that he's got morals (not saying good overall), physical intelligence (perhaps), and dialogues that seem like he's the one that's above everyone else but at the same time has the flaws of being "illiterate" and learning new things with teach such as intimacy. AND he seems very genuine with the majority of what he says, looking back at the latest chapter rn.

Yesssssssssss. I’ve been saying this and I’m happy people are seeing it. Those things like learning, human emotions, learning how to read and all were one of the first things that gave it away.

It's the way they were raised I believe

Someone else said it’s cuz how he was raised, but I also interpreted his character as being either autistic or ASPD or similar due to the black and white literal thinking and difficulty relating to others. He has feelings but they seem to either be slow to catch on or he doesn’t display much when uninterested.

There are two reasons. 1) He is genuinely neurodivergent. Contrary to what many here say—calling him stupid—Grayson is actually quite intelligent. He even holds a law degree, though he doesn't practice. The issue is that he has alexithymia (meaning he cannot understand his own emotions). Consequently, he was taught to feign normalcy by mimicking others' reactions—such as smiling in various situations to appear less odd—though in some contexts, this actually comes across as even stranger! So, he tries to navigate society based on logic rather than emotion. 2) His upbringing didn't help him understand his condition or how to manage it properly. Ash, Grayson's father, believed he was incapable of feeling emotions at all, rather than realizing he felt them but struggled to comprehend them. So, he "raised" him using harsh punishments—like locking him in a room—and demanded almost blind obedience, threatening even worse consequences if he disobeyed. In Grayson's mind, he believes that if he frees the child, the subsequent punishment will be worse; and since he used to wish someone had been with him during his own punishments, he thinks he is helping the child by staying with them. Ultimately, he doesn't realize that he himself was a victim of child abuse, and he acts according to this distorted logic. He also fails to recognize that Santiago's father is committing abuse as well.

So this may not be the author’s actual intent, but he reads to me as autistic. With the most recent chapters,

How he joins the kid instead of getting him out reads to me as misreading what would be expected socially in that situation. He’s told being good would be listening to your parents and applies that without a second thought like he’s following a rule, rather than following an instinct.

Oh... I also forgot to mention that Grayson was taught by Ash—and people Ash hired—to fake and mimic expressions, so many of the looks on his face are actually false emotions he copied. At one point in the story, he even starts imitating certain mannerisms of Dane's, like tapping his foot on the ground.

not an entire analysis but i have a feeling guwon is like half human half zombie-monster. or possibly some sort of hybrid or enhanced species, kinda like how we see in the rotten. i think hes drawn to teach so much because of his innocence. we see everyone else in town be super wary of him, and i think guwon sees them more like farm animals, helping each other and himself to survive. which makes me wonder if he likes teach because hes submissive and easily manipulative or if he really sees him more as human than farm animal. everyone in town is like a sheep, they have their own opinions or whatever but guwon is their shepherd. i wonder if guwon sees teach as a little lamb or what. i honestly feel like the doctor was lying. some things dont add up. for example, why would he kill the doctors kids as well if theres currently kids in the town. it doesnt seem like everyone in town is useful tbh. especially the elderly. thats not to say guwon is innocent, but i feel like theres a bias on the doctors part.
