Aww I’m sure you feel bad for his abuser brother

I honestly have to disagree with you on this one. I hated every black flag ML in this BL-verse but this guy... I absolutely don't support what he did to Samyeong and his backstory definitely doesn't justify what he did to him... But still I do feel bad and pity for him, he is the only red/black flag ML who actually has a pitiful backstory. I don't justify his actions but I do understand. Just like the general said, this is the only way he knew to live... He wasn't taught love and care, the only person who had shown care and love left him too early and had him obsessed over him, obsessed over his care and warmth. I don't blame him for being so obsessed with the warmth after living through all those shit honestly. But again, of course that doesn't mean he had to force Samyeong to sleep with him. But his obsession is pretty understandable and pitiful honestly.

Maybe it's the way the author wrote this but it makes a lot of people like me unable to hate the ML completely and totally from the bottom of our heart. I would say the author is kinda great at writing.

same, yes he is pitiful & u for sure can see what has molded him into the crazy monster he has become. but that doesn't mean what he has done to the man his loves is justified in any way.
this a hard read for sure... think the only reason i am still reading is cause i am wondering if the daughter will ever meet her father. if they kill her off, i think i will just call it quits ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
