❀ Fun fact: BL, yaoi, and shounen ai are all the same thing. BL or Boys Love is the official genre, and yaoi is another word for it in Japan. “Shounen ai” translates to boys love, but Westerners created the genre to differentiate between smut and fluff. (Another name for BL is 801, but it’s not as common)
