I think it’s safe to say I’ve read alotta Bl manga / Manhwa, but never have I felt such genuine emotion conveyed through the screen then when I am reading this. The way the artist draws our jaeyoung and seungmins interactions is just so soft and realistic, there are scenes where there’s no dialogue at all but i feel as though I can hear the thoughts and feel the emotions just through the art alone.
Anyway enough glaze I just seriously think this is what we need more of in BL manga and Manhwa, a grounded yet beautiful display of love and emotion through the art.
Unfortunately most of the stuff I see coming out recently is big hunky chiseled men smashing the brains out of a stick bug (usually without proper consent) loaded with slop churned story’s.
Tho if anyone got any Bl recommendations I’m all ears (●'◡'●)ノ

i think same and also reunion is so good at display of love and emotions through art!
Same here, there’s few that hit the same emotívna as this one.
Reunion, Yang Ilwoo and I, and To Quoque are some that I’d place on the same level emotionally.
Our Youth, Payback, Hate Mate, Bongchon Bride and My way with you are also beautifully written, but may contain some heavier topics/ toxicity and I’m not quite satisfied with the ending of Our Yuth, but if you liked this one you might find some of the ones I mentioned good too.
Especially ToQuoque, it doesn’t have a super complicated or heavy plot, but the mc and ml’s tender interactions and displays of affection are similar to this one.
As of chapter 50 the story feels like it’s going no where. kangjun has been a lil bitch with his inner monologue for the past 5 chapters, and I swtg we’ve gone through this whole Yohan kangjun confrontation where “yohan abuses tf out of him only to ask to be close again to then get rejected and abuse kangjun more” for like 5 chapters of ts.
I’m so done kick him in the balls then transfer school or smshit can the manhwa not follow exactly like the book so we don’t get 10 years of stupid shit and get to the actual character development
I actually like the pacing and how Jun responds. Something about it just feels very realistic to me? Like he's not entirely spineless but also he kind of is, and they way he thinks and acts is very relatable to me... I think I'm biased maybe, but I like a morally grey MC who's actually in the middle.
The way jun responds and his inner monologue do fit his character really
Well, I just personally find it infuriating at times, but it’s more just the situations he’s put in with Yohan recently feel repetitive with the cycle of yohan bullying him then bothering him then going back to bullying to then once again try to act buddy buddy with him. It just feels like they’re trying to hard to show how mentally unstable and crazy Yohan is without moving the story along.
Yeah, I do get that. I feel like the only thing that doesn't bother me so much about it is cause I'm used to several people like that irl, so the pacing feels more real to me since that's how it usually works for me. And also, I don't think day-to-day chapters work as well for a story that updates weekly as it does in it's respective novel.

There’s no direction but down this Bl going cause I don’t see how they could ever redeem the ML and I don’t think the story intends to go in a direction that leads to him getting better, so what is the point of this right now. This can’t even really be called a BL because there’s no love here it’s a man with an unhealthy obsession of another man. Bro is trapped in his Diddy dungeon let my boy go like where is this story going atp xd
