Why is the story like 90% flashbacks and 10% actual plot.. like it was a good story but having so much flashbacks kinda pissed me off

It's true, but the author said that they couldn't tell a lot more stories they had in mind, so possibly, in the distant future, they could either make more side stories or include the characters in another story of theirs. However, they'll be absent for a while because they want to spend time with friends and family.
As long as i can see them (ian, gunni, mi-riye,kyungbin) once in while im fine with anything
