Idk if it’s cuz my parents sucked at raising me (which honestly might be the case)
but honestly I think my only gripe with the uke is that he keeps leaving the kid by himself everywhere, but that’s pretty standard in Korea.
I think other than that he seems to be a good parent? I mean he’s been raising his kid alone for almost 6 years and it doesn’t seem like it was much of an issue before the seme got involved. I think it’s mostly because he fears the worst and that his child will me taken from him, ahem.. leading him to lash out when his kid just knows the guy he’s trying to keep him away from.
Idk maybe it’s cause my parents have had similar custody issues that I kinda see where he’s coming from. my parents respectively had this fear they’d never see me again, and led them to do crazy shit

I need this author to get a shit ton of fame, drop merch, make a longer extended series. It’s obvious they know what they’re doing in both the story telling department and art department as well.
Each panel I felt had so much love in it, there was a lot of specific details throughout that I felt affirmed the story’s main theme, the cadence they took when amplifying their features, the art style (I’d kill to have), and even the composition at times was so gratifying (the vending machine reflection was AMAZING).
Also the dialogue was phenomenal, the whole “I like you, but you have to like yourself first” oh my god, I felt it was carried out perfectly. And the author discussed being in a similar situation themselves and I totally got that from how they wrote about it.
They’re a great story teller, and I’m sad this was so short because I’m sure they would have done a fantastic job going into Taerim‘s backstory a little more (because I found it so compelling and interesting) but I get it for the sake of time, but I think this was a very delightful read. <333
