The kid was clinging to mc and after waiting a bit more they went to the police, there wasn't a report of lose kid and mc thought it was weird. He stayed with the kid and then the mother came to take him, he noticed the family had money but thought something was weird, it was a flashback, I think they took a photo booth pic and the kid was clinging to the mc all the time.
