Okay wow, so they are skipping a lot of scenes from the novel and going REALLY fast. Notably scenes where Gemma and Raven sharing late night pizza, Gemma with Mrs.Feller's cats, and especially the one where Raven gets jealous of another guy trying to teach Gemma how to swim (and offers to teach her instead). Doesn't seem like many people here noticed (or maybe they haven't read the novel) so I thought I'd point it out. If you like their dynamic, check out the novel.
