I loved this story, I fear the reason why this wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea is because it was for all ages. I know this story was here and there but I think this is satisfactory enough for a character like Byul, I loved this series and it is wholesome.
I think Maxi is one of the most character development I’ve actually seen like if you go back to the first chapter and compare to now, you would think she is a complete different person (exaggeration (￣∇￣") ). Anyways, with all that she has been through—you gotta give her credit lowkey. It’s realistic and although it is slow, sometimes when I read this, it lowkey feels satisfactory. Yes, I get it—she was annoying, why couldn’t she just stay put? If I love my partner that much to the point that I can help with just a slither, I wouldn’t stay put as well. That’s my opinion, hope I don’t get my head chopped off!!
We also have to remember (saying this as a reader since ch1 dropped) that in universe only about a SINGLE year has passed? Maybe even a little less? So this progress, in that time frame is actually incredibly realistic and shows her strength!
The only reason I was hooked onto this was because of the arts style mainly—and maybe because of the plot. However, I will indeed admit that I dropped this because of the downgrade of the art style but shoutout to the people who are putting in their time and effort into this. Shall I pick it up again?

Maybe it's not their story. I let it marinate for a while and came back, because I couldn't stand the slow update. But for some people is pure gold.
For me the characters plus the story is pure gold, but the not resolved shit of her father made me uncomfortable. I guess the author decided to unveil everything now and that's why I came back :)

Many people ask whether to read this, I will be honest—it is something coming out of a soap opera drama, like genuinely. The type of soap opera drama that your parent would watch, that you would probably find weird, but then it gets interesting. I’d say the character development is slow but it progresses and yes…there is rape. However, it is not the rape where it’s like violence, since this is omegaverse, it’s more like ‘heat rape’ (not justifying anything). It only happens tiny few times but from there is progresses and blossoms. Whether you read this or not is up to you. But this is my comfort manhwa and if people call it trash, well it’s my trash!!
