I only liked the first and the third couple and the manager one too ofc
The others kinda felt unnatural and forced ESPECIALLY the second one, that 360 switch was insane and I think it’s a red flag lowkey..
I like how it tackles homosexuality and all (those are my favs

I liked the subject of this but I think it was goofily executed? Like I would’ve liked to have Taejun’s pov to really know why he committed suicide and all, some could argue that the beauty of it is that you don’t really know him for him but rather through other’s pov, but imo seeing him struggle and all would’ve been more impactful/significant.

Obviously glasses dude is off like doing that out of jealousy and what not is just him being an asshole. And then having feelings for seheon…Chile anyways

That dad did not deserve being called father. Cheating on his FAMILY with and wife AND and kid like that’s just shitty. To top it off he’s doing it with a student.. Utterly ridiculous.

I loved the mainz especially the second couple, the chemistry and the way they cared for each other was great, though the communication was kinda iffy

The first couple was cute and sweet, like it’s everything you would expect from a main couple.

Though I have to say, seheon crying every time taejun was mentioned slightly pissed me off, especially when Taeyi mentioned it. It was just like come on man..

Also, I get that he felt bad that his dad was “the cause” of Taejun suicide but honestly it had nothing to do with him, like he himself wasn’t the cause of that and no one should/could blame him for that. I think he acted on it way too fast, for someone that wasn’t to close to his dad and all seheon took a lot of responsibility for the dude’s actions which is a little bit unrealistic for that setting. I think the drama of wanting to go study abroad was weird cuz like it’s not his fault at all.. but ig THATS also what makes it more sentimental for some?

It was a relatively good read, but I found it a bit painful (mainly because the art is hard to get by) but I also found some dialogue to be a bit cringe.. but it sweet tho, it’s defo not a complete waste of time

Ya it's funny that the professor is blamed more for Taejun's suicide than he is for actually CHEATING on his wife. It's like the story doesn't even care about the fact that Taejun actually pursued a relationship with a married person (despite knowing it) and that the professor should be shamed for betraying his family and not so much for some decision Taejun took on his own. Misplaced. They're trying to make it melodramatic, focussing only on their sad faces, dreamy past scenes and the 'tragic' end of the relationship and not on it's selfish nature itself which did hurt many other characters. However, Taejun isn't totally innocent either but he definitely didn't at all deserve to die for that.

Good that the main characters are a delight to watch and carry the story....the high rating might be because of them and I agree.
