that "daddy" shook me to my core (negative) so i went to check the raws to see what was actually said and he actually calls him ahjussi both when it's translated as "unc" and "daddy" which makes it better in the original to me because it means the term he was using to sort of ""negatively"" becomes a term of endearment that taeyeon himself ends up liking lol. i do know translating is very difficult but i don't really understand the choices that were made this time around...
oh thank God and thank youuu for clarifying this for me, because I got the biggest ick when I read "daddy" and Taeyeon didn't strike me as having this kink so now I'm relieved xD idk why but ahjussi is better :)))
honestly then it's an error in the translation, if you're already using words like noona, and sunbae then why use 'uncle' for ahjussy? specially when it holds meaning for this specific relationship dynamics
