Okay so, this is the only time I would say where locking the MC up is kinda "justified", because he wants to take his own life, -which is understandable seeing all the pain and suffering he's been through- but he deserves to live, he has to live and the black flag Demis has feelings for Dante, he loves him and he doesn't want him to die among other things he has for him
the irony of the scene is dante already wanted to live before bro chained him up lol. thats the tragedy of the situation and why demis is so flawed. he does not understand humans
