There’s been so much slop lately with Korean BL manwha but this is the perfect blend of hot smut, intimacy, and plot with characters that are slowly becoming more and more flushed out as we learn about their pasts.

Yall his friends are not terrible people. To a degree they are looking out for him by calling out behavior that they view as odd or potentially harmful to him. Yes they could’ve worded it better but they’re not completely in the wrong. What’s really unfortunate is that Eui-Jin needs to be continuously told that his cold/calculating actions are hurting his partner

I really just can’t get into manhwas where the bottom acts like having sex w/ the top is a hostage situation. It’s such a turn off overall, and to be honest this is more of a critique of this trope in general and not just this story(the 2nd couple specifically).
Yknow I’m not really one for tragic endings but I fear there’s no other way for this story to go. Yeonseoung is dead, right? It’s interesting, because they almost keep speaking of him as if there’s a way to bring him back, but he totally fell off that cliff and got consumed by the tiger spirit. It makes me wonder if they’re intentionally being vague. I feel like because no one has straight up said it yet, Geonpil is honestly being kind of delusional. As long as he has his hyung is some form, it doesn’t matter to him. Which actually says a lot about how truly selfish he’s being. I can see why the gods are so hard him. He had a rough upbringing and then had two people who welcomed him with open arms and gave him a family. And really all he did in the end was use them. I just re-read their text thread from the first chapter and it broke my heart. Yeonseung was basically crying out for his help and he still chose to ignore him, which ultimately caused his death.
TLDR: Geonpil deserves to atone for his sins and he’s living in selfish delusion by keeping the tiger around as a replacement for Yeonseung for comfort.
Aw man… I kinda regret starting this bc I really don’t like love triangles but I love the art and the overall vibe of the story ughhhh
