i liked this but compared to paws n claws it was shite,wish the author did more with the story tbh.

Yes and also you might wanna give it a try to read this again. I also hated how mc is using ml so I drop it but then I saw a lot of good reviews and decided to read it once again, the mc regrets it and he apologize to ml then realizes his feelings for him.
