Now when I say that I don't mean timing or quality. I could not care less about quality. it's a piracy site of all things and that'd be dumb to complain about. This is a bit of a rant over the reposts or posting over other chapters as well as the overall lack of completion status updates once a story is done.
I genuinely do not trust a story when it says it is ongoing on here. It's to the point where I don't even filter by completed anymore. There have been SO many stories that even have a chapter labeled "final" or "end" but the status remains unchanged.
As for the posting over other chapters, I'm talking about stories with official and unofficial translations or straight up just translation teams trying to compete over posting a story. I should not have to repeatedly check the chapter title to ensure I'm not getting jumped 20 chapters ahead or behind, or rereading the exact same chapter twice. It's even more insane seeing a story that is normally 200 chapters have 400-500+ because of this.
Is it just hard to remove chapters or update the status? Am I missing something? I guess I'm just really confused on why it's like this so often here
