LITTLE SPOILER FROM NOVEL

Dane is an extreme omega who sleeps around, mostly through one-night stands. He doesn’t discriminate between men or women, and he’s even topped alphas who are shorter than him. He disguises himself as a beta, just like Josh.

Then there's Greyson. and yeah, I did NOT expect this at all. He's actually a total puppy top Like, compared to how he comes off in other stories, this is such a plot twist. He’s soft, clingy, and a cinnamon roll—but only when it comes to Dane.

Greyson’s being an asshole at first, but as time goes by, he changes. This bastard starts going around actually saying sorry to people he caused trouble with. Greyson can’t properly understand emotions at the beginning, and he genuinely struggles with expressing what he feels or even recognizing it in others.

But I’m really thankful because he met Dane. Dane slowly teaches him how emotions work, not in a soft or easy way, but through real experiences and constant push-and-pull between them. Through Dane, Greyson starts to understand what guilt, care, and attachment actually mean.

He doesn’t become perfect, but he becomes more human. Less detached. More aware of the people around him. And most importantly, he starts choosing to stay instead of running away or shutting everything down like he used to.

Whenever he’s in a difficult situation and has to decide whether to kill someone or not, or whether he should save them or not (you'll soon understand why he thinks like this), he always ends up thinking, “What would Dane do in this situation?”

It becomes his constant reference point, like a moral compass he never had before. And deep down, it’s not just about doing the right thing—it’s because he’s afraid. Afraid that Dane might resent him if he makes the wrong choice. Afraid that Dane would look at him differently if he crosses a line he shouldn’t.

So even when everything around him is chaotic, Greyson keeps holding onto that thought of Dane.

Thank you so much your comment. It really helped me. i hate greyson coz he was a total asshole in both the other story available and i was kind of worried for dane for getting him as a partner (not that he's helpless but because i thought he deserves better) but as you mentioned that there is more to him then just what we have seen and now m excited to read it. I wanna see him being a puppy and to see his revolving around dane.

I get you I honestly felt the same way at first. Greyson really was unbearable in the beginning, and I was lowkey protective of Dane too because he deserved someone better than what Greyson was showing. But that’s what made it so satisfying for me. The change doesn’t come out of nowhere, and it’s not instant either. Greyson doesn’t suddenly become soft—he struggles a lot, and you can really see how unfamiliar emotions are to him. That’s why Dane’s role hits so hard. He doesn’t “fix” Greyson, but he becomes the reason Greyson starts trying in the first place.

And the “puppy” side of him? It’s honestly so unexpected but so genuine It only comes out around Dane, which makes it feel more special. Like, Dane becomes his safe place without even realizing it. His ears even twitch when he’s happy, and Dane often calls him a “puppy” and “pretty boy.”

What I love most is how Greyson starts choosing differently. Not because he fully understands what’s right or wrong yet, but because he cares about what Dane would think. It’s messy, but it’s real growth.

I think you’ll really enjoy seeing that side of him unfold

It’s messy at first but turns surprisingly soft. Greyson falls first (and HARD), and Dane pretends it’s casual… until it’s not. They’re chaotic but end up really choosing each other.
There’s a lot of push and pull, some jealousy, and a LOT of emotional growth—especially from Greyson. He basically learns how to love because of Dane.

It’s messy, but they do become something real. Not perfect, but definitely solid in their own way

Okay, here's more information abt them haha

Greyson and Dane have this oddly amusing dynamic where Dane never really owns up to his mistakes in a normal way. Whenever he knows he’s done something wrong, instead of apologizing properly, he tries to distract Greyson in the most ridiculous way possible. He’ll casually ask, “Wanna touch my chest?”fully aware that Greyson has a soft spot for it (to the point that he even named it “Venus”). Dane uses this as his escape tactic, hoping Greyson gets too distracted to stay mad at him. And somehow, despite how stupidly transparent it is, it works more often than it should, which only makes their relationship even more chaotic and entertaining.

How did they fall in love with eachother? How long did it take? Why doesn't Dane believe in love,( mentioned in kiss me if you can )?

    I love buff bottoms April 14, 2026 3:01 pm

I’ll just give a little spoiler (idk if it’s actually little haha).

They didn’t fall in love instantly—it was really slow and messy. It started with curiosity and understanding each other before it turned into something deeper. Greyson didn’t even realize his feelings at first, while Dane kept denying his. It took 190 chapters for Dane to finally accept his feelings for Greyson.

As for Dane not believing in love, it mostly comes from his past and how he views relationships. He’s very rational and guarded—he sees love as something unreliable, something that can make people weak or lead to disappointment. Because of his experiences, he doesn’t trust the idea of love being permanent or genuine, so he avoids labeling his feelings that way. Even when he clearly cares about Greyson, he doesn’t easily call it “love” because, to him, love isn’t something safe or stable.
