This chapter was a lot … actually very triggering. It was good but triggering. Seeing baekhee as a child and his small frail body being beaten was a little too painful - I had to skim through a bit. Sad to think abuse like this exists all over the world to innocent helpless children behind closed doors. Reminds me of the case of a 6 year old child named Arthur Labinjo-Hughes where he was found dead from brain injury after being consistently beaten and neglected by his own parents. Autopsy showed he had 180 injuries. And a video evidence was shown of the boy saying “no one loves me”. I remember reading that article and bawling my eyes out and soon as I thought of that boys parents I just saw red. Disgusting creatures that deserved medieval torture and death to be honest.
Child abuse is so horrific mine was never to this level but I went through difficult times as a child. It still haunts me and runs my life to this day as an adult. I feel so helpless and scared. Still like a child I was back then. So much hurt and pain it makes you only see darkness in the present past and future. The author did a good job at depicting the horrors and trauma. I hope the world can be kinder and gentler to children, especially those in need of it. Kids are like sponges they fragile and absorb everything around them with their heart on their sleeves. Better treatment for children is a better future and world.
I know this a romance story but now all I want is baekhee to into a greater and stronger person he is, life filled with happiness and love. Bless him

Don’t want takatora and kameyama to be together at allllll.I have a soft spot for kameyama he’s serious, noble and sensitive I feel like takatora playing with him would just be heartbreaking. He can have his flaws, he may be overbearing with his passions or views to others but he seems to understand boundaries. Ideally if he wants a man I wish it to be someone who loves him n respects but that won’t be how the plot will be driven :p he’s got a lot of determination in him so won’t be saying he needs one though. I’ll be rooting for him.
