This is easily the best story I've read so far about transmigration!!!
Despite Athy retaining all her memories as her past self knowing the entirety of the book, she still behaves as a child when she's a child, given she was born and just so happens to know a bit too much. But never, and I say never, does the author make the character be op just because (which happens in some transmigration manhwas I've read with MC being a baby and knowing too much and behaving like an adult while the rest of the characters are cool with it. Because ofc a child knows stuff of economics and contracts lol).
The art is so beautiful I can never get tired of looking at EVERYTHING. The outfits, the character designs, the pastries, everything looks so goddamn good.
The angst in this story is soooo goooood. Already knowing stuff was not going to be all sunshines and lollipops it was still shocking to suddenly see Claude turning back :') my poor Athy.
I also liked the ending, the battle with the villain was good. It brought politics, it brought planning, they just didn't defeat it with just the power of friendship. And the way Athy and her sister reconcile :') my girls just wanted love. I really like it.
This work gets a 5/5, for story, for art and for Claude (づ￣ ³￣)づ
The main plot is pretty hollow. This is mainly just porn without plot. The world building is interesting but it's rarely talked about. Also some character's history is just not brought up, which can impact our view of why they take the decisions they do and why they're at odds with X or Y character.
The art and smut scenes are good (if you're able to read non-con and dub-con).
I'd give it a 3/5 and that's only because I can't give half stars otherwise it'd be 3.5/5 purely because of the art and shading.
I just binged read this in a single day and I gotta say, it was a story that captivated me because it's so crude and well represented.
The plot was a bit predictable for me, NGL I was already thinking that Lisbeth would die in chapter 30, and also that everything done to Sylhan was a conspiracy done by house Glenberg and that Lisbeth was trying to hide whatever Sylhan might remember. The toxicity from Lister that goes way back before the incident really makes me uncomfortable.
I am a bit frustrated that people close to or aiding Sylhan tells him the truth only in pieces and he has to figure out everything else. Also partially because it was unknown whether Sylhan would remember or comply as he was under Glenberg's manipulation. Still, it frustrated me so much after they said they would not lie to him. They didn't, just didn't tell the full truth lmao.
The intimate scenes between Gjord and Sylhan are a chef kiss but due to the nature of the story it made me slightly uncomfortable to read UnU. I felt as if I was seeing something I should not out of respect for Sylhan. But they're so cute.
I wanna know more about the "deal" that sorcerer spoke about, which would've been prob settled by the prior Lord Glenberg or Lisbeth, before Lister fucked everything up because he's a possessive psycho.
Bring Lister to me, I want to rip his balls with a spoon :).
Both are toxic as fuck. Man, Leo is such an idiot I don't believe he will truly change just for J.J.'s sake (he'll, in 5 years he didn't even think so until J.J. broke up with him) and J.J. is also toxic as hell.
Not only not communicating things but choosing the time when THE OTHER ONE IS NOT EVEN LISTENING. Like. Fucking when he's blatantly ignoring you and asking you to move from their line of vision just to keep playing. Of course it's the perfect time to talk about a job offer you've been considering. It was just normal Leo wouldn't know CUZ HE WASNT EVEN PAYING ATTENTION.
And also Leo, fucking disgusting eating chips in the sofa and leaving the crumbs and using outside shoes inside the house when you have a "No shoes inside the house" policy. Yeah, he's a narcissist and J.J. should get away from him. It's hard to get away from someone you've learned to love and care for, but them saying "Oh, I'll change for you" just seems like a red flag that they'll most likely won't change xd. Just leave before you get hurt more.
And for people telling that J.J. didn't rape Leo in that chapter 13 and 14. He did.
First of all, Leo wanted to do it in a hotel, but I.J. wanted to do it right then and there. Leo wasn't okay with it, but j.j. coerced Leo into agreeing threatening to back off from the agreement of being fuck buddies. That's not consent xD. Even if Leo and J.J. both agreed to being sex buddies, it's done with both consent on the location, times, using or not a condom, etc. Leo was coerced into it at that moment with J.J. threatening to undo the agreement, and even J.J. was purposefully rough on Leo, and didn't even stop nor slowed down despite Leo telling him to do so.
J.J didn't even loosen up Leo appropriately before putting his dick in, he could've hurt him and tear something up (ofc for the sake of the story that didn't happen but irl preparation is the most important part to not hurt your partner AND J.J. MISSED THAT)
