At this point this makes me more frustrated than happy to read. It’s really sad because I loved the story so much so let me know if there is a point in the future where the MC actually like, stands up for himself, and sticks with it. First off I want to clarify by saying I'll respect your opinion, and I won't force my opinion on you. I'm just explaining to you to give you a better idea of whether or not you want to continue reading.
If you wanted a manhwa where the mc is like Sung Jinwoo who beats the shit out of anyone who looks at him funny, this is not it. Or even a manhwa like ORV (no hate to orv i love it) where the mc gets to be super op, this is not it.
The whole premise of this story is that Yoojin is an F-class surrounded by S-classes. In comparison, of course, he'll be weaker than them. Despite the obvious difference in power, Yoojin isn't afraid to use them to achieve his goal (this continues throughout the story). The fact that he's able to even be around S-classes without cowering in fear is already far more than the average F-class could do.
Don't sell Yoojin short. As you can see in the last chapter, he used the skill from Diarma to stand up to Hyunjae. While he's not as strong as the S-classes, he's not entirely powerless either. Even though he knows he's weaker, he's resourceful and not afraid to go up against much stronger opponents. I think that's cooler than a Sung Jinwoo type protag who's the strongest and doesn't have to be afraid of anything.
That's my point of view, and it's one of the reasons I love Yoojin so much. Sorry that it's so long. Hope it helps
Yeah, I get that. I guess I meant that we are 100 chapters in and I expected more development from him. But now that you said that you’re totally right that this is that kind of story I guess the last couple chapters for me have just been me reevaluating my expectations of this manhwa. I feel like 80% of shonen series I read end up losing steam about halfway through and becoming a jumbled mess not even remotely similar to the original story but that’s why I love this so much because it’s still keeping up steam 100 and something chapters in and even getting better!!! It’s absolutely astonishing to me how people can look at a character like that and go ‘that’s my girl!’ Like no, get therapy and better friends… like I don’t think I would hate her if she’s supposed to be the villain, but the fact that she’s the protagonist makes me question the mental stability of the author, honestly, every character written here makes me question the authors, mental stability lmao

I was already starting hate FL, as I was reading the manhwa. I hate to check the novel spoilers. Now I'm livid and pissed ar her repetitive antics. She starts off as if she is not like the usual dense fmc but she is worse!
The author was staggering for plot connections. You could tell. There was already zero romantic development and the cringy sexual comments passed during foreign third Prince arc I was willing to look past all that in hopes that maybe it's a slow burn. HA. YEAH SLOW BURN. IN MY CROTCH BCS THIS IS THE SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE OF SLOWBURN. Man I'm pissed.

I read a manhwa called Emperor And The Female Knight where the ML is the emperor and he took in 3 concubines despite being in love with FL. Slept with them. Even gets a daughter not from FL. Of course in the end FL becomes the empress and he has a son with her. Though the next emperor of the kingdom is probably the daughter.
People don't hate on the ML as much as they hate on the FL here.

ML had the concubines before he and the knight got together, and the knight was fine with it too, that’s why readers don’t really hate on him as much while here FL took in a second husband without her first ones consent which is just ew first of all, and forced him to eventually accept them sleeping together. Also her second marriage wasn’t necessary at all. And she fell for her second husband while visiting his country I believe.

Pretty basic story and I hate love interests as much as the next person but a lot of these comments sound very incel-y
it's not about "they stole your bf" but romance makes the mc become stupid sometime, and mostly reader want a cool and cold mc. they dont care about the romance in ending, but it's annoying having a romance in the beginning or mid of story. ppl also here for the plot and adventure fantasy things, not romance. if they want romance, they could just read romance manhwa by genre from the start. this manhwa doesnt have "romance" tag either, no one expected it

I totally get that because I feel the same way. I generally hate romance if it’s not the genre I’m specifically reading. My problem was the people in the comments going on about calling her a hoe and a bitch just because she was a flirty female in a manga it’s like dude go touch grass or something, it’s a book.
i dont also find she's annoying actually, she has a character but barely make any movement at the same time, mc also doesnt care (yet) about her, the romance is really light to the point that it doesnt even count as "romance", it's just one sided crush
btw, will this manhwa get a third season? or is it ended? they dont give any spesific info in the last chapter, this is the third action manhwa that i really interested the most beside solo leveling and tomb raider king
