Ngl I hate when characters have these unique colorful features even though it's not a fantasy manhua, and it also breaks the immersion for me, I wish they could've leaned in more for the realistic struggles of an art student, and go more for a heavy on emotions. And yeah the pacing is bootycheeks.
Why would A DETECTIVE eat some RANDOM ASS FOOD left on his table by a VERY SUSPICIOUS PERSON??? This the problem with some of these manhwas, they dumb down character just so they can move the plot forward it is so ass I cannot describe how bad of a "plot device" this is.
What's with manhwas misrepresenting the novel they're adaptating? Why did they add unnecessary rape scenes? This means they aren't gonna bring it up in the future, if they wanna derail from the actual novel plot. This makes the character emotionally shallow, in a sense that he doesn't feel anything in particular regarding the fact he got raped.
This!! I'm not against rape in stories, but if you're gonna add it - especially when it wasn't in the original source you're adapting - it better actually impact the plot and characters, otherwise it might as well not have happened in the first place.
