It's really obvious you didn't read the novel, since he starts asking for consent and preferences later on and Taeui very clearly states that he infact does enjoy and want it. The rape in the beginning is nothing more than necessary conflict for the story and is not deep at all. If Ilay is already too much for you, you should mature and grow up before Richard x Christoph appear in the manhwa.
