Manga, manhwa, and manhua have had a special place in my heart for a long time. When I was struggling in elementary school with finding interests I had stumbled upon this world. I started off reading random anime doujinshis in 4th grade and slowly opened up my world. However my first Bl manhwa that I had read was in 5th grade called Murderous Llewelyn’s Candlelit Dinner and it has been one that I personally think is the best to start out with. Back then it was quite a lot to understand but the more I read it I understand all the hidden subtleties and learn things new each time. From then on I read Love Murder Basketball, Rainbow City, then Jinx and this is where I am now. I wasn’t initially into Manga but got into it following my love for anime as well which was in my freshman year. I technically got into Manhua in middle school when I figured out that Manhwa and Manhua were two different types. Deliverance of the Counterattack was my first Manhua and also my personal favorite right behind Here U Are. I started reading Shoujo, Shonen, Josei, and all the other ones in 7th grade. My favorite was Beginning after the end but then switched to Eleceed after my friend put me on it in 9th grade and I’ve reread it probably about 4 times now. I love Eleceed, it’s my favorite manhwa ever. My favorite Bl is still to be decided but I have always loved the Bls with older semes with a pretty big age gap.
