I'm gonna be honest, I think it's fine to jump in now but I think if you got frustrated by the plot and dropped it, might wanna let it marinate a little longer until our main characters are in a better place (which is far better than where they started of course but not completely where they NEED to be) we have gotten a lot of depth and insight to both JK (fighter) and Dan (doctor) and their relationship is still building up and there isn't really a set promise or feeling that they'll be together together in the near chapters so do with that as you will lol
I mean it is a classic "toxic seme eventually sees the error of his ways, falls deeply in love, and becomes a complete simp for uke" kind of story, especially if we know about how the author handled the character development in BJ Alex. Right now, we're still in the phase of jk figuring out how to make it up to dan for his shitty behavior so let it marinate a bit more if you want to reread for a happy ending, or reread now if you want to suffer along with us but there js a light at the end of the tunnel ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
