I read it a while ago. It’s a romance drama that can get pretty frustrating, but honestly, that’s just how life is. The protagonist is perfect because of his imperfections; can totally understand why he falls in love so easily, and it's great watching him learn how to build up his self-esteem and stability. The blonde guy with the unrequited love messed up a lot, but I could never bring myself to hate him. I think the pace of him realizing he loved the protagonist was actually fine—the thing is, the protagonist had already grown up and moved on by then. The older guy with the kitten is the perfect match; I was so happy they got engaged. Honestly, it’s a really good story if people just have some patience with it.
Aw, this chapter was so sweet! It's great that they showed what the training camp is like and didn't just jump straight to the tournament. Juhyeok is a different person when it comes to his sport—passionate and happy. I'm praying that Daiki becomes his friend too, and doesn't end up being some weirdo or villain paid to do things to Juhyeok after gaining his trust. Idk.
Mister Jinghyeon's father might not be the most pleasant person, but he consistently manages to be an interesting character whenever he appears. I mean, his monologues always have a foundation; he's not just some random villain. That's why it was great that they included a conversation with Uyun, because he's also eloquent, using his words in a gentle and intelligent way, rather than being sharp.
I know there's going to be more, and I read it with a cold head, but honestly, for chapter 100, that was incredibly... boring. There were so many ways to approach it, and author just decided to separate JK and Dan for like the third time already? It's like, if they can't even talk to each other after such an awful, life-or-death moment, when are they ever going to...? Looking away and having flashbacks doesn't communicate/change anything. We've already seen Dan downplaying everything, and JK kicking him out of his house before, too.
Seriously, people had better plot ideas for this story in general for a lot time already I mean, Jinx never was anything amazing when it comes to plot and storytelling, but for me JK should have start this phase much earlier, pacing seriously sucks here so much, and no development from Dan end, like... he's the only one constantly getting hurt and no reflection, we are at the end, and from development end we're barely in a middle
Yeah I’m not even against the toxic telenovela cliché, I love them lol, but right now the story is failing to SERVE. It kills the originality when they had already presented the most dramatic scenarios possible. The redemption is a bit refreshing though, because if you read the old chapters Jaekyung was just a caveman who only knew how to say two things: 'shut up' and 'open your legs.' It’s totally valid that people still see him that way since it did took him forever to have some self-reflection.

Oh, they're so happy to see each other that they're crying... honestly it's adorable and a turning point in how Yoshiki shows affection for our Hikarunt even without having a physical form.
