Ive read the novel up till the end and its a hard ride,,

So they start dating kinda but mc finds out that ml is the same guy because water pointed out that he was picked up Yoo Chae even though mc said they had no contact with each other and yadda yadda mc pulls ml to the side and confronts him while ml cries that he'll explain everything (this is on ml's birthday btw) and boom they meet a week later and ml explains his backstory... which is a lot to unpack and kinda explains why hes so worried and stuff but def doesnt excuse it

he was neglected by his mum and he met mc while they were 14-15 and try to meet in school but mc accidentally ignores him and now the ml has to move cause his mum found a new husband and during their last meet up, ml asks mc to not forget his name; Chae Yoo-jeong. Mc kinda puts it off and says yea... ig, next time i see u call me oppa (implying that he thought ml was a girl lol) and FAST FORWARD next time they see eachother is at that tournament where mc plays jungler, so ml uses his privilege to meet with mc and boom mc asks if ml got the wrong person and becomes heartbroken... and obsessed so he literally ravages the internet to find whatever he can on mc (like streams and stuff cause his cousin is close with mc and said cousin is a streamer), plays HOL and whenever hes in a game with mc he unintentionally throws the game because he wants to be friends with him and mc scolds him in game, so ml THROWS THE ACCOUNT AWAY and makes an official account and yadda yadda gamgack or whatever his name is and now we're not in the past

When they meet again, Yoo Ji-han confronts him that Chae Yoo-jeong's behaviour is not normal, and tells him if he really wanted to be with him, that he'd learn to be independent and be a truly functioning adult without needing to know where and how jihan is and also to PROPERLY TAKE HIS MEDS.. yoo chae begs for this to not be the end and yadda yadda ends uo agreeing and A COUPLE YEARS LATER YOO CHAES PRO GAMING CAREER IS IN SUCCESS and boom they meet and start dating again and yoo chae only gets on zenoris ever so often while mc still plays regularly, theyre pretty healthy in the end and happy ever after.. also they have sex in the side stories lol but its more implied so idk if theyll add it

Theres also the thing with the pro player that betrayed yoo ji han but I lowkey forgot everything about him, hes important for mc's untrusting nature and whatever but hes literally a poo bag

Anyways i summed it up in a really shitty way so if u want clarification, do ask but I implore u to go read the novel.. its good and if you only want the angst, chapter 80+ is good place to start

Yep!! So basically the events near the middle-end is
- aware of eachothers feelings
- betrayal
- back and forth with eachother until ml agrees that he can get better without knowledge of mc
- timeskip of around 2-5 years (i dont remember how long;;;)
- they meet again with mc initiating interaction
- ml has improved
- after a few days/weeks they date officially

Lololol ur def in for a bumpy ride... BUT the good thing is that the mc isn't an idiot!! So thats one thing you can be less pissed about lololol
