I’m assuming calix is the ML right? Things were going pretty well and intimately with einz but seeing how she “feels at ease” with calix is definitely a “he’s the ML” bell ringing… but she hasn’t even spent the same amount of quality time with Calix to even give that impression. He just seem territorial because he likes her and she keeps technically stopping his advances even if she isn’t aware… she’s technically not divorced there was no legal process and the grandfather refused to finalize it. She still see calix as her brother in law.
Okay so I'm not sure if this applies to Korean culture but in Victorian culture or european culture, from what I'm seeing in this little land of Euro make believe, when you marry your spouse, under the church, it's seen as you both become of one flesh. Therefore, whatever siblings your spouse has, also becomes your sibling. So according to etiquette, if she marries her brother-in-law it would be seen as in the same light as her marrying her brother. Yes it's twisted and it doesn't make sense, but keep in mind, that's what this Victorian era kind of time, said about marriage among in laws
At first I was living for this. It hit important issue head on. But after a while you feel the story dragging the problems keep going in circles. You lose sense of what the root of the problem is because of the fillers. I loved how raw it felt about how it talked abuse, grooming, generational trauma suicide and toxic societal norms. so many complex emotions and characters. But now each character is losing their substance. Many side characters that the other made you get emotionally invested feel like they won’t get a proper closure. And that’s leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
So I hope they elaborate on how her sister betrayed her. She might be the next antagonist probably something like she was jealous of the FL in some way or form or she loved the duke before her and she wanted to get rid of the FL to step in and win the grieving duke once she got rid of her for good(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
He could’ve pardon himself so I could’ve danced with his mom first than the lady but instead he panicked lied and made things worse for his mom ppl already think poorly of her as a mom but now he just threw more wood to the fire…. I get that heya teenager but considering all the duke training he is going thru he should’ve been more calm and collected ( ̄へ ̄)
How she had a lot of burdens at such a young age and on top of that postpartum depression treated indifferently by most because she’s seen as an outsider and neglected by her husband to some extent purposely being left out she feel completely unstable even before her pregnancy…. Yet she’s trying her best but ppl keep on pointing fingers, disregarding her she had no one for genuine support and stability ….
Everyone including her are looking for a body but what maker her especially think she didn’t transform into a bird? Why does she think she got separated from her body instead of transforming? I mean magic in this story hasn’t been confirmed but it’s not out of the realm of possibilities? Is it just me?
I hope that her friend doesn’t like the roommate romantically I’m really cheering for misaki and the roommate…. The twink needs to go honestly…
I get the feeling that the friend likes Misaki actually. Did anyone else get the vibe?
I didddd, I think the chapter where the friend was introduced and misaki stayed at her house.
Yep, I noticed that too.
