While I also don’t like Hamir and any/all of his intentions, I can empathize with her on how she acts toward him. He was her first friend. Even after breaking off friendships, they still made good memories together. It’s hard to enforce boundaries when you meet a person with whom you share both good and bad memories with.
Also, blushing isn’t just for attraction. It can be a sign of anger, embarrassment, or any high emotion that gets your heart pumping and blood running. As she says, she’s flustered bcuz he has so much information about her, up to her initial proposal to Tarkan.
I’ve finished the novel, and Hamir has a lot of emotional turmoil ahead. And he does even more ecky things while being led by his emotions towards her, he also has other motivations in place. From his mother, father, Tarkan, and the nation at large.

She’s so mature and communicative. She has so much social awareness and calls bs as she sees it. She clocks things that seem weird and is obviously super smart to have remained top student for years. She does her best for her boyfriends and she loves them in a healthy manner.
Ex obviously missed out and rightfully regrets it. I’d say he has majority fault in the break up. While I do prefer the ML more than the ex, both of them fall shy of being worthy of her. A woman shouldn’t have to fix any man, they should learn to fix themselves.
