omg i usually avoid this type of universe in yaoi and this was my first time reading something like this but WOW omg i love it such a beautiful manga and so well written im genuinely just in awe after reading it
the main story is probably my fave ever i always reread it it just SUCKS that they have that weird incesty side story, and like im not trying to shame people who read that but like the main story is so fluffy and cute and then you have whatever the side story is
Aghh idk about the nature of their relationship , i would prefer if they separated for like a few years so at least he can grow up

there’s no time skip really ml runs away a few times for a few weeks but mc goes to his work at some point and sees what ml really does for work and mc forces ml to acknowledge him and his feelings

haha yeah… I think this story could have used a time gap here it’s better in the novel a bit but personally not enough for me. Like MC is like 19/20 when they boink
just finished this story and idk i have a few thoughts i just wish karlyle became slightly more confident throughout out the story and took more initiative, instead he was COMPLETELY reliant on Ash, but as an alpha to alpha story it felt like lyle was an omega who was just called an alpha for the plot. And idk maybe i missed something but ashs intense love for lyle didn’t really make sense for me because lyle would literally say nothing half the time like for lyle i understand because he is his first everything and i couldn’t help but have this like suspicion for ash for a while
I mean he is shown as struggling with being an alpha and being the bottom and enjoying being on the receiving end.
Also his backstory and family explains why he is the way he is, he was taught that sex was a duty and developed a complex due to it, because he thought he had to sacrifice himself for the family. He’s also a reserved man that never expressed his emotions and desires openly until he met Ash. He did open up and become more assertive in the relationship and even outside of it, just because he isn’t loud or bossy doesn’t mean that he is flat or relies on Ash.
