only in the sense that the mc wants a better ending for the tower inhabitants he's seen over and over again as npcs before the world became real, like dokja with the book characters.
Though that's as far as the resemblance goes and though entertaining it's not as deep so don't go in with too high hopes and you'll have fun.
There's great emotional moments and beautiful friendships/partnerships, definitely would recommend.
Also ngl this is also no where near its end so if hooked you'll be waiting with the rest of us.
