What the hell, i started reading this when it started and i left it to marinate. From what i read, i thought i was a good story so why is everyone saying its ass? Im not sure if i want to read it now
It's a good story. Well you should probably make your own assumption after reading it, but I enjoyed it! Reminds me a bit of the sword of Evangeline, bit it's been a while since I read it. =)
I think people just want something like complex and more to it but i finished it and i liked it not because it had high level complexity to it but because the ending was nice and sweet and i genuinely think it’s such a fast little read and it’s easy to enjoy their relationship and their development. I agree with the replies to have your own assumption because i enjoyed reading it
Is this the trope where the fl wants to divorce her husband who doesn’t care about her but when she say it he suddently start caring about her and realize how much he loves her? If that's what i think it is it ain't for me

Nope. He actually didn’t give a damn and agreed to the divorce, and she wished for him to rot in hell.
Sadly she didn’t get alimony, and her family is a bunch a greedy hags, so after no time wasted on contemplating it, she decides “welp then I’m turning this into a revenge story” and goes to cause misery for both sides.
